Champlain Valley Expo Phish Review
The show at Champlain Valley Exposition was a great one. Phish played a very solid and clean show. They also got the crowd turnout that they had hoped for. Not only did they sell out the show, but there were also thousands of people standing outside of the show trying to listen. The parking lot was set up in way so that anybody who didn't have a ticket could still listen in. People took full advantage of this opportunity and stood just outside the concert grounds and tried to get a view of the light show. The band had a goal to raise $1Million for the flood efforts. Judging by the crowds the band must have exceeded their goal. Many people I met at the show were flood victims and were very appreciative towards the band. After all is said and done, it was another great Phish show.

Phish show at Champlain Valley Exposition
Tomorrow, September, 14th 2011, there is a Vermont Flood Recovery benefit concert being held by Phish at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction VT. The show was announced just a week prior to being held. Tickets were only availible through the Phish ticket lottery, and the box office at the venue in order to give vermonters more opportunities to attend then out-of-staters. Mike Gordon, the bassist, announced that they want to raise at least 1 million dollars for the charity. The show will be the first time the band has performed in Vermont since they split up in 2004. Their last showing in Vermont was sloppy to say the least so the band really has to prove themselves this time around. Tickets sold out almost as soon as they went on sale and are now being sold for $200 or more on sites such as Ebay or Craigslist. Those attending will be lucky and the traffic will be tough.
